The Federated States of Micronesia (/ˌmaɪkroʊˈniːʒə/ abbreviated FSM), or simply Micronesia, is an island country in Oceania. It consists of four states – from west to east, Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae – that are spread across the western Pacific.
